History - Discipline During the War of 1812

I hope this article will be interesting to more than historical reenactors. It gives some insight into the severity of punishment, structure of the military, and some types of crimes. Let's hope reenactors do not take re-creation of circumstances to heart and implement some of these punishments. Also, let's hope historical reenactors, more in the ranks, realize that 'obediance' and following orders will make the events and portrayed military life more realistic to site visitors.
